Sunrise re-endorses Ayanna Pressley for Massachusetts’ 7th.
Ayanna Pressley believes that “people closest to the pain should be closest to the power” because she knows firsthand the need for environmental, economic, and racial justice in her community. Since she won her election in 2018, becoming the first Black woman to represent Massachusetts in Congress, she’s been championing the Green New Deal, immigrants rights, and working people. Ayanna continues to put the people of MA-07 first by holding both corporations and law enforcement accountable. And has made our generation a priority with every decision she’s made. She’s shown up for us at our calls and at our actions, and we’re excited to throw down for her again this election cycle.
