About the Campaign
As a movement to avert the climate crisis, we know that we cannot possibly hope to make forward progress under fascism. But what if I told you that the reverse is also true?
Fascism runs on big oil
Trump’s administration is backed by the same fossil fuel billionaires who have spread misinformation about the climate crisis for decades.
They bought his presidency because they saw the writing on the wall. Renewable energy is cheaper than fossil fuels, doesn’t poison our communities, and isn’t driving a disastrous climate crisis. If they let democracy take its course, their fossil fuel business model would go the way of the dinosaurs.
They’re choosing fascism over democracy because democracy means them losing billions of dollars.
So to beat fascism, we’re going to have to take on these greedy billionaires, polarize the public against their blatant corruption, and make them pay in the states and in the courts.
